About Us
We are STOMP (Shamrock Together Opposing Mega-industrial Project), a group of neighbors in the Shamrock Park area of Shoreview. We are coming together to protect our neighborhood’s safety, environment and quality of life from a massive industrial business park development proposed right next to us.
Proposed Development
A developer is proposing building a 62-acre, 5-building, just under 1-million-square-foot industrial business park (separate from Rice Creek Commons) with access at County Rd. I and Fairview Ave. in Arden Hills.

Our Concerns and Goals
Safety & traffic: If approved in its current proposed plan, the development will funnel heavy traffic, including trucks, onto the only road in and out of our neighborhood, risking the safety of drivers, trail users, and children walking to Pinewood Elementary School.
Environment: A project this scale threatens Rice Creek, local wildlife corridors, and neighboring parkland. The site’s history also means extensive environmental cleanup is required.
The site sits within Arden Hills city limits right on the Shoreview border, so we do not have elected representation across city lines, even though our neighborhood in Shoreview is the only one that will face the daily consequences of this development.
This is not a done deal.
STOMP is currently organizing 565+ local homes to get transparent answers from officials, and make sure our voices and concerns are being taken seriously. Our goal is to stop this proposed development, scale it back, and push for an alternative that fits our community.
